Web3 Australia Group has entered Events & Entertainment Entrepreneur of the Year in Australia, in the Established band. Every award is decided by public vote.

AUSTRALIA, Thursday 15 October 2026. David Haslop, Web3 Australia Group, has entered Events & Entertainment Entrepreneur of the Year in Australia at The Entrepreneur Awards 2027, in the Established band. The community vote runs from 27 September 2026, closes with entries, and names three to five finalists in each category, from votes confirmed one by one by email.

Finalists are announced four weeks before winners are announced. The winner is announced online at the Virtual Awards Night, streamed. Every country winner is in the running for the Global Icon Awards, where the winners become EXPY Icons.

How the finalists are chosen

People who know the business vote first: customers, suppliers, staff and peers. One vote per person per category, each confirmed by email. The vote finds the finalists in each category, band and country, and the finalist with the most counted votes wins. Every vote is checked and the count is independently certified. The entry fee pays for the entrant’s page; it never buys a vote, a finalist place or the result, and sponsors never vote.

Every industry runs at three sizes, so owners are up against businesses their own size: Rising Star (under US$1 million a year), Established (US$1 million to US$5 million a year) and Leading (US$10 million plus a year).
